Card Layout Challenge #30

This week’s challenge is not for the faint of heart!  Since all of you create magic, let’s see what you can do.  Here is this week’s challenge layout (opened).  Read on for the link to the diagram with dimensions to create this card.

Card Layout #30

Card Layout #30

This week’s card layout that is somewhat involved.  It’s called a Tri-Shutter layout and the results are amazing!  An online friend of mine on WIStamping, Bonnie Szwalkiewicz, excels at this card format.

If you go to Splitcoaststampers (link below) you will see her tutorial on how to create these awesome cards.

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album.  This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc.  Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge.  Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured?  Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!

Enjoy!

Let me know what you think. And if you can’t tell, I used wall paper for the pretty antique-looking areas – both dark and light.

    Sincerely,

    Rli

Wow, this was a challenge. Enjoyed it though. My main problem was eith y cutters . They frustrate me to no end trying to get a straight cut. Here’s my take.
