These Valentine’s Day cards turned out beautifully!

Card Layout Challenge #106

I really don’t enjoy making Valentine’s Day cards. However, last week I made a card with this design at my last SU! stamp camp and really liked the design!  It’s a simple card where you can use your heart punches and make bows like the ones Monica H. showed us this past week (great tip)!  The card opens up in the MIDDLE.  You can add layers to each side of the front panels before adding the hearts and bows.  The top and bottom hearts are on the left side panel.  The middle heart is on the right side panel.  Remember oriental!

Take out your square punches, because you’re going to need them for this challenge.  Have scrap papers?? Well, you might be able to use them as well on this challenge!!

Last week, I failed to mention that the challenge was inspired by Fran, an OSA member.  I found the card a while back and I did not make copious notes about the artist.  Fran emailed me this week and it triggered my memory a bit.  My apologies to Fran!  This challenge was a slight variation of her design.

The ladies below created beautiful artwork. Enjoy your morning coffee admiring them!

This is a variation of a card I saw online.  The dotted part is a mesh, although you could use something else.
