Card Layout Challenge #179

This week’s challenge is inspired by Carla van der Mei-Stolk.  Carla posted a How-to on OSA of a card she sent those members who had joined her Men Mingle Swap.  I thought that would be a great challenge for this week.

If you have Nestabilities or something like it, now is the change to bring them out and begin playing.  Although Carla used an octagon nestie, I’m sure you can use other shapes as well.

Directions from Carla’s post:
•I glued the Nestabilitie on the rubber strip , marked the middle of the card and put the rubber strip between it.
•Used some painters-tape to tape it on the card.
•Then I put it all in my cuttlebug (until it stops at the rubberstrip, turn it and do it again) and  then used
the Score-Pal to score the lines and fold it.

I got the idea from a YouTube-video and here is the link to it… explains it all  ;o)

Give it a try…and have fun tooo in trying it out. Much cheaper than buying the newest sizzix movers-shapers die for this! And you can use any nestabillitie or other dies you have for it.

I am still looking for more layouts!

Have you made a card with a layout you like?  Have you seen a card with a layout you like?  If so, please email me privately with it!!  I am looking for some new card layouts.

Upload your artwork to your personal photo album.  This can be an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc.  Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge.  Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured?  Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!
