Card Layout Challenge #209

This week’s card is inspired by Bonnie Sz., a stamping friend of Maggi’s and mine.  I have featured her card layouts before.  The layout is called the upright “z” card.  It looks like an upside down easel card.  Do follow the links below (or click on Bonnie’s name to see her take on it) to give you an idea of what you will be making.  This is the basic format I would like to see, with the button/holder at the top:

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album.  This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc.  Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge.  Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured?  Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!

Enjoy!

Not too many this week, but all are lovely!

Card Layout Challenge #208

Veronique Levy  was looking at cards posted on OSA-Archives long ago.  She sent me a few she liked the layout.  Today I am featuring one of the cards she liked.  This card was made in 2004 by Michelle Walpole from Qld, Australia. Let’s see what you can do with this layout.

Card Layout Challenge #207

This week is a color challenge.  The colors I choose today are  gray and peach.  I found THIS color image on the Seaside Creativity blog.  The gray looks more blue on close up, but I am looking for grayer shades as opposed to bluer shades.  Do the best you can.  I know not all have the colors. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE IMAGE ITSELF AS PART OF YOUR CARD DESIGN.  The image is merely to be for color reference only.

This week’s challenge is by Cindy Connell, a former SAM honoree!  Her 2009 SAM accordion window folder project is the featured artwork.  Please visit the SAM page to view the directions for her project…scroll all the way down.  As an added bonus to this week, About Art Accents is giving a $10 gift certificate for one of the participants.  My husband will be do a random drawing of all those who participate.  Good luck!
