Card Layout Challenge #213

This week is color challenge week!  The colors I chose for this week are PURPLE, PINK, and GREEN.  Here is a beautiful Japanese woodblock image c.1810 by Kikugawa Eizan that has the colors I am looking for in this challenge.  Your card can be any image and any layout.

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album.  This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc.  Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge.  Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured?  Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!

Enjoy!

Card Layout Challenge #212

This week’s design is based on a card used to teach a technique.  The skill is the “faux wood grain finish” on Splitcoast Stampers from 2009.  The tutorial and card can be found here.  I would like you to use the layout using the faux wood grain technique. You can also use a wood grained stamp for the frame if you do not want to follow exactly the tutorial.   Can’t wait to see what you can make!

Card Layout Challenge #211

This week’s challenge is one inspired by a card that Lydia Storey sent Rosemary Lam last month.  It is a cut out zigzag front. Let’s see what you can do with this layout.

Card Layout Challenge #210

This week, we are having a Valentine’s Day theme challenge.  You are to find a stamp or image that shows a couple…close up view of the heads, whole body, etc.  It can be any design.  However the focus is couples + Valentine’s Day.

Here is an example of a couples card I found in the PHOTOS section of OSA.  The card belongs to Barb Benson.
