Card Layout Challenge #218

Let’s think SPRING!  Temperatures here in Wisconsin were in the 50’s yesterday.  We haven’t been in the 50’s for five months or so.  What better way to celebrate spring than to begin getting your garden ready for planting seeds!  Annette W. sent in this darling seed packet template that you can decorate and gift with seeds….how cool is that!  By clicking on the image and printing it out, you will get the actual template size for the packet.  Thanks, Annette….very clever!

This week is color challenge week!  The colors I chose for this week are shades of TEAL and BLUE!  I LOVE those two color combinations.  Follow this link to see these two colors manifested in many different forms!

Our OSA members create such gorgeous artwork!  I looked through recent photo uploads to the group and came across Barbie Dopson’s card.  I absolutely LOVE the card!  Your challenge this week is to take one image and stamp it twice.  Then take the images and place them bottom to bottom (or toe to toe) to create a new design.  Notice Barbie’s image is made up of two fans.  The fans are joined in the middle of the card.  There is a flower that hides where the fans meet.  Let’s see what you can do!

Card Layout Challenge #215

This week’s challenge is from a card I saw posted this week.  The card is by Ginny Maxam, I believe.  It was made for the Black plus Blue challenge.  I love that the butterfly was added as a 3-D element.  Your challenge is to make a card with this layout…text on the left within a layered box AND a 3-D element.  It does NOT have to be a butterfly. It can be anything!

Card Layout Challenge #214

I hope I haven’t posted this design before!  Annette sent a card that she calls an echo stamp.  The key is to take an image in two different sizes and put one behind the other as shown below.
