Card Layout Challenge #222

This week’s challenge is a bit more involved.  It is a variation of a pocket card.  We made a pocket card two years ago, almost to the day!  This pocket card is called a criss cross card.  Same concept, just different.

There are many different ways to make pocket cards.  The one for this week is demonstrated below by Beate Johns from Splitcoaststampers.  Please view the videos and card samples by following the links below.

****Remember, your card design must be oriental in nature. There must be at least one stamped item on your card.

As I was trolling through the internet this past week, I found a card with a design I liked. Here is the layout I made based on the card. It has layers, which I love!

Card Layout Challenge #219

Do you have any scraps around? Well, now is the time to use them. Veronique emailed me this card by Rli that I have chosen for this week’s challenge. What a perfect way to use up all those scraps we just hate to throw away!
