Card Layout Challenge #255

This week, I found a stunning card on Splitcoaststampers.  When I saw it, I immediately LOVED the die-cut shape in the middle.  The card is by Angela Maine.  I followed her link to her blog.  Angela’s blog is called From The Tool Shed. She included a tutorial on her blog for this card.  I don’t have a die-cut that shape, but with the tutorial, it looks easy enough to do.  The card also looks like it will lend itself well to create and oriental card!  I have linked her card to our website.

****Remember, your card design must be oriental in nature. There must be at least one stamped item on your card.

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album.  This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc.  Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge.  Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured?  Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!

    Here’s my #255 card.
Instead of a bow on the ribbon I added an folded Crane to it.
Used a nestability-die and Washi paper.
On teh background paper I stamped some clouds and cranes.
