Card Layout Challenge #256

Did you know that a number of our registered vendors and vendor sponsors have galleries on their websites with GORGEOUS card examples?  In addition to our OSA albums, get inspired by visiting their websites!

At Hanko Designs, I found a card made by one of our OSA members, Rosemary Lam.  She has had a few other card layouts featured on our challenge blog.  You will need Mizuhiki cording or something related to make the cording design on the card.  Here are Google images for making Mizuhiki paper cording knots.  There are other sources for you to learn:

With respect to the card, notice there is a strip of washi paper down the middle and two layers on the cardstock. I am sure all of us have scraps of washi we could use for the card.  Please try to keep the basic design of the card when you create your own.  There must be at least one stamped item on your card.

****Remember, your card design must be oriental in nature. There must be at least one stamped item on your card.

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album.  This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc.  Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge.  Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured?  Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!
