Card Layout Challenge #261

Veronique L. suggested a layout that was made by an OSA member for an upcoming swap and uploaded into an album.  I will not show that card because the swap hasn’t yet been posted, but I looked online for cards similar to the one Veronique liked.

This week’s layout is a design made using a technique called the Starburst or Sunburst Technique.  I know last year there was a similar technique featured on Techniques Junkies.  This is a variation of that technique.  You can make the card in Landscape OR Portrait orientation.  The card must have the sunburst on half the card only as in the tutorial below. You may also put in the middle any kind of embellishment.

Follow these links to see samples of this technique.  You will also see some tutorials.  Make sure it’s oriental!

****Remember, your card design must be oriental in nature. There must be at least one stamped item on your card.

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album.  This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc.  Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge.  Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured?  Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!
