Card Layout Challenge #274

I am recycling a very popular challenge posted about 2 years ago.  Let’s see what you can do.  I will post all cards on June 1st.

Reposted from November 2012:

I often get inspiration by looking at Asian artwork, Asian greeting cards, posters, etc.  This week’s challenge is to find inspiration in art and try to transform the art into a stamped card.  I am looking for how close you can make your card look like your inspiration.  When posting your card on OSA, also include a link to the original artwork that inspired you.  PLEASE DO NOT USE A CARD IMAGE SOMEONE ELSE HAS MADE to be inspired.

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album. This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc. Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge. Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Card Layout Challenge #273

This week’s challenge was found in the gallery of one of our sponsors, Stone House Stamps.  The artist is Lea Everse.  Take a look  at the card layout and see what you can do.  The card is a square, not the traditional 4.5 x. 5.5 inches.  Remember, this week’s challenge ends this Friday.  Take a look here:

Card Layout Challenge #272

Over the years, some of our members designed rubber stamps for various companies.  A number of years ago, one of our members, Heather Taylor created this week’s card AND designed the stamped image for Art Neko rubber stamps.  Your challenge is to create a card in LANDSCAPE form.  Use any stamped image as shown and the rest of the card can be made with scrap papers you know you have around!

Card Layout Challenge #271

This week’s challenge comes from the gallery of our OSA-Archives website.  The card is made by Bonnie Walheiser.  I don’t know if we have done something like this, but I liked it so much, I though it was be an easy layout to do.  The card has a script background with a frame embellishment.
