Card Layout Challenge #292

I am still a bit under the weather.  I will post this week’s challenge tonight, and tomorrow I’ll upload the previous weeks’ cards. Hopefully I’ll feel better by then.

I found this card on Pinterest.  It is made by Wendy Weixler.  Her blog is Wickedly Wonderful Creations.  I also found the card on Splitcoast Stampers.  Unfortunately, I did not find the card on Wendy’s  blog.  Take a good look at the card and make sure your card has all the elements as the inspiration card does.  That includes some embossing on one of the layers.

****Remember, your card design must be ORIENTAL in nature. There must be at least ONE stamped item on the FRONT of your card.

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album. This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc. Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge. Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured? Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!

Card Layout Challenge #291

This week’s card layout is a double zig zag fold card.  You can see an example of what I want you do to here. You can also see how it is made by watching a video here.  Your card MUST be a double zig zag card (not single), but how you design it is up to you. Please give it a try.  It looks complicated, but it isn’t really, although it can be somewhat time consuming.  You’ve had a number of easy weeks, so challenge yourself!

I am including a number of links to help you create this type of card.

This week’s challenge is a super easy one.  The layout card is made by Anya Schrier.  Her blog can be found here.  The card she made that I want you to use as this week’s layout can be seen here.  The image on the left is popped up.

Have any scraps?  Have a 3/4″ square punch? If not, you can use a paper cutter. Then this week’s challenge is is for you!  This is a simple card to do.  Take a look here.  It is a card by Cara Malmrose.  Her blog is called My Creative Chaos.  Please do not change the basic design of the card nor the orientation.
