Card Layout Challenge #310

For this week’s challenge, I went hunting on OSA-Archives.  There are so many great pieces of art there!  This card was made by a former member named Crystal Kodani.  Perhaps some of you who have been around for a while might remember her.  I haven’t found a blog of hers yet.  If any of you find one, please LMK!  Take a look at her card below.

Card Layout #310

Card Layout #310

Your card must be landscape orientation as shown.  It must have a tag as shown, including a text type background.  Your image should be stamped over this background.  This card is special because of the headshot stamped geisha image. It’s perfect.  Use any stamp and any color.  The ribbon is optional.

****Remember, your card design must be oriental in nature. There must be at least one stamped item on your card.

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album.  This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc.  Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge.  Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured?  Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!

Card Layout Challenge #309

I hope this week’s card layout challenge will not take too long to make.  It looks simple enough. The card can be found here. It is found on the blog Scrappin’ and Stampin’ in GJ In October of last year, I had a challenge similar to this.

Your task this week is to do each section of the card in the same order as shown.  In other words, the top layer will have some sort of splatter/dots.  The second layer will have some stamped design (any image….does not have to be floral).  The bottom layer must have text and a small ribbon as shown.  Any of the 3-D embellishments are optional.

****Remember, your card design must be oriental in nature. There must be at least one stamped item on your card.

Card Layout Challenge #307

I found the most darling fun fold card on Pinterest today, and I wasn’t even looking…LOL!!  It is a DIY Butterfly greeting card.  You can find it at FabArtDIY.com.  You can either make your own card by following the directions, or you can download the pattern to help cutting out the card.  The card just is too cute!  You have until next Sunday to get this done.
