Card Layout Challenge #319

This week’s card layout inspiration is from http://www.designbolts.com/.  The original card is made with a Christmas theme.  Of course, for our challenge, your card needs to be Asian inspired, but not Christmas related.

The card is a flag card.  Take a look at it here.  There is no separate blog entry with directions.  However, if you look at it carefully, you will see it isn’t had to do.

****Remember, your card design must be oriental in nature. There must be at least one stamped item on your card.

I invite you to create a card using this week’s challenge. Upload it to your personal photo album.  This can be an OSA gallery album, an OSA Yahoo! Photo album, Flickr, PictureTrail, etc.  Then post a link to your artwork HERE in the comments section when you have completed our challenge.  Or, you can also post a link to your artwork on OSA. Come back on Sunday to see who has taken the challenge this week!

Do you want your design featured?  Just email me (Sonia E.) your original design and you will be featured in an upcoming challenge this year!

This week, you will be making a tag.  I am including two links from two different blogs with the same layout.  The tags are partially made with washi tape, but you do not need to use tape.  You can use strips of designer paper, washi, yardstick, etc.  Remember to use a tag form and make sure that there is a ripped opening down the middle with a stamped image in between.

Here are the two links where you can see the tag layouts:

Card Layout Challenge #316

This week’s card challenge is SUPER EASY!!  Yes, I found it on Pinterest.  The card is made by Patricia Hays.  You can see the card on her blog Thinking of Inking with Patricia Hays”Patricia created the card to fulfill a sketch challenge on a different blog.  Her blog entry can be found here.  The card can be seen here.  You only need one text stamp and various sizes of paper.  Do you have scrap papers?  Well, this would be a perfect layout to use them.
